Abstract

RESUMEN: Con base en diferentes estudios se hace una reflexión sobre el desafío que deben afrontar los futuros profesionales de la información para desempeñarse idóneamente y responder de manera eficiente a las nuevas perspectivas de desarrollo bibliotecológico y archivístico, que se manifiestan de manera contundente en la sociedad de la información y del conocimiento y que repercuten en el quehacer de diversas instituciones a nivel local, nacional e internacional.

ABSTRACT: Based on various studies, we elaborate a reflection on the challenges faced by future information professionals to function competently and efficiently in order to respond to new outlook for library science and archival development, sharply manifested in society information and knowledge and impacting on the work of various institutions at local, national and international levels.
