This file is an extension of my application for a FWO Junior Postdoctoral Fellowship. It is an overview of the main sources that will be used to achieve objective 1 = to define moral education and its place in educational policies of the Meiji period. It constitutes out of secondary sources discussing education in Japan, moral education in Japan, educational material published by the Ministry of Education, and sources assembling primary source material such as educational policies promulgated by the Ministry of Education during the Meiji period (proceeded by an *). All sources are either already in my possession (book or pdf format) or can be accessed via interlibrary loan services (Berlin State Library) as well as digital collections (National Diet Library Digital Collections).
