In 2020, the new coronavirus pandemic has resulted in classes interruption around the world. In Brazil, school calendars started being suspended in March, since then thousands of teachers and students have struggled with the impacts of the pandemic in the most diverse fields of social life. Thus, we seek in this text to make considerations about the harmful of these virus ion education field. For this purpose, we align two different understandings of basic education teachers who are intertwined in municipal educational management. Far from wanting to theorize about the theme, we are concerned with the task of investigating the main demands that have arisen after COVID-19 and which points of discussion in our daily activities in basic education. In this scenario of uncertainty, overcoming the pandemic presupposes collective and dialogical decisions guaranteeing the realization of the right to education.
