The Quark-Gluon Plasma is a state of matter where quarks and gluons are deconfined from hadrons expected when nuclear matter is taken to high density or temperature. The study of this state is extremely important for the complete understanding of the equation of state of the Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) and its properties. It can be achieved in laboratory through heavy ion collisions like the ones generated by the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) at CERN and studied through the ALICE experiment. The goal of this project is to significantly contribute to the study of the Quark-Gluon Plasma through a relevant participation in the ALICE experiment, exploring several aspects as data analysis, instrumentation and training of future generations.
