This report testifies a study of the different approaches in air quality and city carbon initiatives, primarily focusing on the European area but including case studies from New Zealand and South Africa. The research is based on a three level method comprising literature review, survey and case study interviews. The main objective of the research is to inform the development of “bespoke city policy packages to reduce emissions”.
