A ASSISTÊNCIA À GESTANTE COM CÂNCER: O PAPEL DA EQUIPE DE ENFERMAGEM

Abstract

Objetivo: Descrever qual é o papel do enfermeiro diante da gestante com câncer. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura através de publicações científicas extraídas das bases de dados LILACS, SCIELO e BVS, através dos seguintes descritores DECS: Neoplasias; Gravidez; Educação em enfermagem; Cuidados de Enfermagem; Enfermagem Oncológica. Os critérios de inclusão foram: materiais publicados entre os anos de 2015 a 2020, escritos na língua portuguesa e que abordem o tema da pesquisa. Os critérios de exclusão foram: materiais publicados antes de 2015, escritos em outro idioma e que fizeram fuga ao tema. Resultados: Analisou-se 14 foram selecionadas por atenderem aos critérios de inclusão estabelecidos previamente na metodologia. Conclusão: Os enfermeiros devem dar atenção especial às gestantes, mostrando-se atentos à qualquer alteração detectada neste período pois, em muitos casos, os cuidados pré-natais se constituem no único contato que uma mulher em idade reprodutiva tem com o serviço de saúde. É de fundamental importância que o profissional de enfermagem esteja sempre atualizado acerca do câncer, tendo em vista que este ainda continua a ser um dos grandes vilões envolvidos na morte entre as mulheres. Além disso, o enfermeiro, inserido no cuidado direcionado à mulher, em todos os níveis de atenção, necessita implementar estratégias que intensifiquem ações de prevenção e detecção precoce do câncer, sobretudo no período gestacional.
