Li [Li Hsien, 李馨] 77351 (holo-: PE00021885!; iso-: NAS00070301, WUK0252019). – Note: Carpinus daginensis is considered as a synonym of C. fargesiana var. fargesiana in the Flora of China (Li & Skvortsov 1999) and in the Flora Sichuanica (Editorial Board of the Flora Sichuanica 2012: 35). C. fargesiana var. tchouana C.C.Yang, Distribution of the Woody Plants in Sichuan [四川树木,布]: 662 (Yang 1997). – Type: not localized. – Note: this name is only accepted and mentioned in the Flora Sichuanica (Editorial Board of the Flora Sichuanica 2012), while it is regarded as a synonym of C. fargesiana var. fargesiana in the WCSP (2016). The present authors did not see the protologue.
