Adults occur in IV–VI. Oligophagous on Asteraceae: Psephellus declinatus, Centaurea sp. and Jurinea sordida. In laboratory on Centaurea spp. (Nazarenko 2009) Notes. Morphological characters and biological features suggest that D. geminus is a subspecies of D. bucovinensis.
