El presente artículo tiene como objetivo interpretar la orientación de las estructuras arquitectónicas de la ciudad íbero-romana de Basti mediante la aplicación de la uaratio, técnica mencionada en la tratadística clásica, tratando de esclarecer el procedimiento de su urbanización y comprobar si se siguió un plan ortonormado en el levantamiento la ciudad. Los resultados no son concluyentes, pero se puede afirmar que existe un modus operandi en Basti, que se llevó a cabo a la hora de su reordenación urbana en torno al cambio de era.
The present article pretends to interpret the orientation of the architectonic structures of the ibero-roman city of Basti by applying the uaratio, a technique cited in the classic treatises, trying to clarify the process of its urbanization and to prove if an orthonormed plan was followed to raise the city. The results are not conclusive, but it can be said that in Basti it exists a modus operandi, that was followed in its urban reorganization around the change of era.
