Los molinos constituyen una de las expresiones más significativas de la organización del territorio y de la actividad humana, un patrimonio revelador que habla de relaciones, del hombre con su entorno y de las formas de vivir y culturas del pasado con las del presente. Esta razones, serán entre otras, las que nos han llevado a considerar que estos edificios en general y en concreto de los Pinos Genil forman parte de nuestro patrimonio cultural y con esta finalidad se ha elaborado el presente documento que analiza estos edificios, fundamentalmente mediante metodología arqueológica.

The mills are one of the most significant expressions of the organization of the territory and of human activity, a revealing heritage which speaks of relations between man and his environment and the ways of living and cultures of the past with those of the present. This reasons, will be among others, which have led us to consider that these buildings in general and in particular of the Pinos Genil are part of our cultural heritage and for this purpose has been prepared this document that analyzes these buildings, mainly through archaeological methodology.
