Here, the test materials are released that were used in the first intervention study conducted over a period of 4 to 6 weeks in two high-schools in Berlin, Germany (2018, 2019). The study was the first to collect empirical data on what German students actually know about Latin vocabulary and how they handle their vocabulary knowledge. One of the main goals of the research project is to establish a broad understanding of vocabulary knowledge in Latin lessons in Germany, which aims at a versatile education of (cross-linguistically helpful) vocabulary competence.
Funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), project number 316618374.
