These files supplement the publication Intraindividual consistency between auditory and visual multistability by Einhäuser, W., da Silva, L.F.O., & Bendixen, A. The files stateSequences.mat and allEyeData.mat contain the data as described below. To exemplify their usage, the functions figure2.m through figure6.m output the paper’s data figures. stateSequences.mat contains the following variables: xVis, xAud, xMix – reported state sequences for the visual, the auditory and the mixed condition (1-integrated, 2- segregated leftward motion/low-pitch tone in the foreground, 3 - segregated rightward motion/high-pitch tone in the foreground, >3 - undefined states lasting longer than 200ms). The variable is a cell array of size 16x1, one vector per participant. The two blocks of each condition are concatenated, start is indicated by an NaN entry. tVis, tAud, tMix – durations in second that correspond to the states in xVis, xAud and xMix, respectively. allEyeData.mat contains the following cell arrays of size 16 x 2 x 2 (subject x condition [visual/mixed] x repetition): xEyeRaw / yEyeRaw – raw horizontal/vertical eye position in screen coordinates xEyeSlowOnly / yEyeSlowOnly – horizontal/vertical eye position containing only slow eye movements (saccades removed) slowDir – slowPhase direction computed from eye-movement data (in radian) slowVel – slowPhase speed (absolute velocity) computed from eye-movement data slowVelUp – vertical component of slowPhase velocity of size 16 x 2 x 2 x 3 (subject x condition [visual/mixed] x repetition x state type [integrated, segregated (left/low pitch), segregated (right/high pitch)]): stateOnIdx / stateOffIdx – starting and ending index of the respective state in the corresponding eye-movement data Note: allEyeData.mat is about 0.5 GB in size, so only load variables needed for analysis. All files can be used free of charge for scientific purposes, provided the aforementioned publication is appropriately cited.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
