D5.1 Ecosystem analysis and specification of B&E KPIs

Abstract

This document provides suggestions for actor roles for the 5G-VINNI facility and the complex 5G ecosystem. Based on this the document elaborates on implications for 5G business relationships and business models. The results of a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis of the 5G-VINNI facility are reported. By systematically combining the SWOT input it is possible to suggest both forward leaning strategies, and more defensive ones. The document contains an overview of the verticals’ innovation potential that the 5G-VINNI facility can enable. Furthermore, it provides the basis for enabling business validation of the 5G-VINNI facility by establishing Business and Economic KPIs concerning topics such as cost efficiency, value creation, and entry barriers.
