Bu çalışma, hem Batı dünyasında hem de İslam âlemindeki bilginlerin karma eğitime yaklaşımlarının teorik yapısını ve aynı zamanda bu teorik çerçevenin nasıl gelişip dönüştüğünü kısaca ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bununla birlikte çalışmamızda batı ve İslam dünyasında karma eğitimin tarihsel sürecine ve uygulamalarına da örnekler verilerek genel yapı gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Özellikle İslam dünyasındaki karma eğitim ile ilgili uygulamaların, Resulullah (s.a) dönemindeki uygulamalara uygun olup olmadığı da tartışılmıştır.Co-Education in the West and Islamic WorldThis study aims at briefly pointing out the theoretical approaches of the scholars both in the western world and in the islamic world on coeducation together with the development and transformation of this theoratical framework. In addition, a general overview of the structure of coeducation in the western and Islamic world together with its historical background and applications has been given through examples.
