ATTRACTION OF EXTERNAL INTELLECTUAL RESOURCES AND FUNCTIONALITY OF AN INNOVATION-ORIENTED BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP FOR INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract

Opportunities of innovation-oriented business-partnerships of enterprises to attract external intellectual resources, in particular industrial ones, are still not covered. It is about the functional and tools of innovation-oriented business partnership, the mastering of world experience of collaboration with universities. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to highlight the functionality of an innovation-oriented business partnership for industrial enterprises from the point of view of attracting external intellectual resources from universities. In the world, the partnership and cooperation between business and universities are rapidly developing as a collaboration of brands, resources, and potentials. In Ukraine, the partnership, business cooperation with universities becomes slow development as a fragmentary collaboration of resources and potentials. There are no brand collaboration. Existing models of business partnership (forms of inter-corporate cooperation, corporations, etc.), forms of cooperation with universities (branch departments, joint research laboratories, complexes and centres, etc.) are increasingly adapting to changes in the functional and business needs. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new type of business partnership - innovation-oriented. It has advantages, because it integrates resources of critical influence on a value-oriented approach. The functional of the innovation-oriented business partnership forms blocks with the corresponding processes: generation of scientific research; commercialization of scientific developments; modernization of educational activity, introduction of entrepreneurial education; patenting and licensing of technologies; interaction (communication) with educational, as well as scientific innovation environment. The functional support of its formation of intellectual potential from two parts is offered. The first part - the general corporate functions (informational, analytical, coordination, regulatory, accounting and control). The second part - a set of types of management activities in relation to the formation of intellectual potential of the enterprise (intellectual resources, corporate architecture and corporate culture), to which it is appropriate to include methodically and instrumental support. The functional of such a business partnership is implemented by implementing activities on selected routes of development of intellectual potential of the enterprise, formation of their joint or autonomous budget. Sources of funding are determined by the terms of contracts or within the framework of common formations.
