OpenIng - Open Access und Open Educational Resources in den Ingenieurwissenschaften : Ergebnisse aus der bundesweiten Umfrage

Abstract

Im Fokus der Befragung steht der unbeschränkte und kostenfreie Zugang zu wissenschaftlichen Informationen, Open Access, (OA) und die Verwendung freier Lizenzen für Bildungsmaterialien, Open Educational Resources (OER). Wie nutzen insbesondere Ingenieurwissenschaftler_innen OA und OER und warum tun sie es unter Umständen noch nicht? Die aus der Umfrage gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden genutzt, um neue technische, organisatorische, rechtliche und reputationsbezogene Services, Unterstützungs- und Workshopangebote, Infomaterialien und Kommunikationskonzepte für die Ingenieurwissenschaften zu entwickeln, zu erproben und zu evaluieren. Die Bereitschaft zur Veröffentlichung von Publikationen und Lehrmaterialien als OA bzw. OER soll bei den Forschenden und Lehrenden in den Ingenieurwissenschaften deutlich intensiviert werden. Für die Auswertung der Fragebögen kam die kommerzielle Software EvaSys zum Einsatz. Entstanden sind die Ergebnisse im Rahmen des vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) geförderten OpenIng-Verbundprojekts der TU Darmstadt, TU Braunschweig und der Universität Stuttgart.
