The Future of the Gaia Universe

Abstract

In this presentation I provide a look ahead at the next Gaia data releases, Gaia EDR3, scheduled for Q3 2020, and Gaia DR3, scheduled for the second half of 2021. I describe the data products that can be expected, preliminary source numbers, and emphasize the new elements in both releases. The second part of the talk looks ahead further at Gaia DR4 and the extended Gaia mission.
