The construction sector has a special role in the socio-economic development of each country. it is obvious that the use of the principles of project management for the implementation of a number of tasks of infrastructure construction and management of real estate is obvious, since rational planning and appropriate management provided the opportunity to create large-scale projects, many of which have survived several millennia. Open source and outlined the effectiveness of the project approach to the implementation of a number of infrastructural tasks construction and management of real estate. The world experience of application of project management in the management of tasks of various levels of complexity is investigated and world trends, which will have the greatest influence on the prospects of construction, are grounded. The key advantages and features of application of project management in the building sector are determined. These trends will more or less define the course of the development strategy of the construction sector of the Ukrainian economy. The ability to adapt to the challenges of the environment is a prerequisite for providing a sound basis for the formation and development of a competitive and secure construction sector; At the same time, a profound role is placed on qualitative project management in construction.
