ÖZ Bu araştırmada Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın ilköğretim okulları için tavsiye ettiği 100 Temel Eser serisinde yer alan kitaplarda küresel değerlerin incelenmesi konu edilmektedir. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın ilköğretim okulları için tavsiye ettiği “100 Temel Eser” okuma kitapları serisi; örneklemini ise bu eserler arasından tesadüfî örnekleme yöntem ile seçilen 40 eser oluşturmaktadır. Eserlerde işlenen değerler ilgili kitaplardan fişlenerek bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmış, elde edilen bulgular nitel açıdan sınıflandırıldıktan sonra frekans, yüzde ve yoğunluk puanı açısından nicel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçta, İlköğretim 100 Temel Eser serisindeki kitaplarda “demokrasi” değerinin işlenme sıklığı bakımından ilk sırada yer aldığı görülmüştür. Demokrasi değerini sıra ile etik, bireysel gelişim, hürriyet, empati, bilgi, toplam kalite ve verimlilik değerleri izlemektedir. Eserlerde en az yoğunlukta bulunan değer ise “çağdaşlaşma” değeridir. İncelenen yerli ve yabancı yazarlı eserlerde “Avrupa Birliği” değeri tespit edilememiştir. ABSTRACT A Research on 100 Basic Works Global Values at Primary Education Within this research, the examination of the global values mentioned in the books of “100 Basic Work” series that suggested for primary schools by National Education Ministry is subjected. “Descriptive Field Work” method is used in the research. “100 Basic Work” reading book series, which is suggested for primary schools by Primary Ministiry of Education, constitutes the universe of the research; as for the sample, 40 books choosen between these work by coincidental technique constitutes it. The values processed in these works were tagged and then transferred to the electronical environment. After he results were classified quantitively, they were analyzed qualitatively from the point of frequency, density and percentage. Consequently, ıt is seen that, in the books of Primary School 100 Basic Works series the value of “democracy” takes places at first. The values of ethic, personal development, liberity, empathy, knowledge, total quality and productivity follows sequentially the value of democracy. However, in the works the value found with lowest intensity is the value of “modernization”. No value as “European Union” was discovered in the books by native and foreign authors.
