Abstract

Ein zentrales Thema des Forschungsprojekts QuaSiD ist der Begriff der Digitalisierungsstrategie. In dem zweiten vom Projekt erarbeiteten Arbeitspapier soll der Begriff der Digitalisierung im Hochschulkontext ausgearbeitet werden. Zum Begriff der Strategie siehe Graf-Schlattmann, M., Meister D. Wir verstehen Digitalisierung in Anlehnung an Tilson et al. (2010) als einen Veränderungsprozess im Sinne eines digitalen Wandels. Im Verlauf der Argumentation wird zunächst das Verständnis von Digitalisierung erläutert, differenziert und auf den Fall der Hochschule angewendet. Das vorliegende Arbeitspapier berücksichtigt dabei die Auswirkungen der organisationalen Besonderheiten von Hochschulen auf den digitalen Veränderungsprozess an Hochschulen und stellt heraus, wie die Transformation in der Hochschullehre erfolgt, welche Art von Veränderung zu beobachten ist und wie strategisch Einfluss auf den Prozess genommen werden kann bzw. an welchen Stellen steuernd eingegriffen werden. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ A central topic of the QuaSiD Research Project is the concept of digitalization strategies. Digitalization is understood in terms of Tilson et al. (2010) as a process of change in the sense of digital change. In this argumentation, the understanding of digitalization is first explained, differentiated and applied to the case of the university. The present working paper takes into account the effects of the organizational characteristics of universities on the digital change process at universities and emphasises how the transformation in higher education teaching takes place, what kind of change can be observed and how strategic influence can be exerted on the process and at what points steering measures can be taken.
