In this article transformation of ceramic manufacturing factory into a smart ceramic manufacturing has been discussed. Based the unknown industrial visit and observation finding has been mapped with the proven generic smart manufacturing framework where the focus is to identify the types of sensors which need to be connected with the components of the machine real time monitoring and get the insights by utilizing these data through the big data analytics.
