
Interaktionen zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft beruhen auf Grundannahmen: Was macht gute Wissenschaft aus? Welche Rolle spielen Werte im Forschungsprozess? Sollten gesellschaftliche Akteure in Wissenschaft einbezogen werden - wenn ja, wie? Soll Wissenschaft neutral sein oder eine eigene politische Haltung vertreten? Obwohl diese Annahmen die Interaktion stark prägen, bleiben sie im Arbeitsalltag häufig implizit. Das Model Reflection Tool ist ein Reflexionstool zur Sichtbarmachung solcher Annahmen. Es richtet sich an Akteure aus Forschung, Politikberatung und Wissenschaftskommunikation sowie an Projektverantwortliche und empirisch Forschende. Grundlage bildet ein philosophisch fundierter Fragebogen. Die Befragungsergebnisse werden anhand idealtypischer Modelle visualisiert und können in Workshops diskutiert, zur individuellen Reflexion genutzt oder im Rahmen empirischer Befragungen ausgewertet werden.
