Abstract

El presente ensayo desarrolla una reflexión filosófica a partir de una experiencia perceptiva concreta: la representación de lo divino en lo cotidiano. Tomando como punto de entrada la pintura Cristo en casa de sus padres (1850) de John Everett Millais, se construye un marco ético que articula intuición moral, narrativa religiosa como tecnología ética, crítica filosófica, lenguaje e instituciones. Se integran las perspectivas de Nietzsche, Kant, Mill y Wittgenstein para mostrar que la ética no es un sistema cerrado, sino un proceso dinámico de evaluación, ajuste y responsabilidad. Se examina el papel de la narrativa religiosa como dispositivo que convierte afecto en criterio de acción; se discute la función del lenguaje en la precisión moral y el rol de las instituciones como estructuras revisables. Se argumenta que la agencia moral surge en el equilibrio entre cuestionamiento y compromiso, evitando tanto el absolutismo como el relativismo total, y que las tensiones irresueltas —deber frente a bienestar, individuo frente a comunidad— no son fallas del sistema ético, sino condiciones constitutivas de su ejercicio responsable.
