Hollis Jeffcoat — Documentation Archive — Volume 3: Books and Monographs — Catalog

Abstract

Volume 3 of the Hollis Jeffcoat Documentation Archive: a catalogue of 13 book-length sources read during research on the American painter Hollis Jeffcoat (1952–2017). The volume includes biographies and monographs of Joan Mitchell (with whom Jeffcoat lived at Vétheuil from 1976), Elaine de Kooning, and the broader New York School milieu, alongside exhibition catalogue essays from the Whitney Museum (1974) and David Zwirner Books (2024). Each source card includes a full bibliographic block, cite flag (✅ Clean / ⚠ Incomplete), and an Article use note describing the source's role in the Hollis Jeffcoat Wikipedia article and ongoing biographical research. The catalogue pairs with the working Volume 3 Archive, which contains the full editorial record including claims, quote inventories, and biographical fields. Prepared under the Zenodo Publication Policy and Zenodo Edition Build Specification.
