Abstract

On s'intéresse ici aux nombres premiers de Sophie Germain (premiers p tels que 2p+1 soit aussi premier), non pas en tant que première pierre de la longue démarche (SG) vers la résolution de la conjecture de Fermat, qui a abouti au théorème de Fermat-Wiles ([9]) en 1994, mais en tant qu'un certain ensemble de nombres premiers, noté PSG (strictement inclus dans l'ensemble P de tous les premiers), dont on étudiera, comme pour P ([4], [7], [15], [16], ...), les couples (jumeaux, cousins, sexy, ...), triplets ou autres n-uplets arithmétiques ou non. Cette analyse sera faite (comme dans [15], [16]) dans le cadre de l'arithmétique modulaire de Gauss, avec toujours le rôle essentiel joué par les classes modulo 6 de N/6N. Dans PSG, on montrera, en particulier, qu'il n'y a que pour un écart e = 0(6) qu'il existe plusieurs couples et qu'il peut exister plusieurs triplets arithmétiques; pour e non 0(6), il n'existe aucun triplet ni couple, sauf, éventuellement (si 3+e ∈ PSG), l'unique couple (3, 3+e) pour e = 2(6).On considèrera aussi d'autres ensembles de nombres premiers du même type (en s'inspirant des chaînes de Cunningham généralisées ([3), [5])) (AC), en troquant la liaison 2p+1 de PSG contre ap+b, avec a et b premiers entre eux; une propriété du nombre premier 3 puis une de l'entier impair 3 en résulteront.Pour les ensembles PSG, G2-1 (défini par 2p-1) et G4 (défini par 2p+4), avec un écart e non 0(6), il y a au mieux dans quelques cas un seul couple possible mais jamais de triplet arithmétique et il faut e = 0(6) pour que plusieurs représentants soient possibles; pour a et b non 0(6), il existe au mieux un triplet quelconque débutant par p = 3. G6 (défini par 6p+1) est beaucoup plus riche et se rapproche de la situation dans P ([15], [16]), avec au moins un représentant (cas des couples et des triplets arithmétiques) pour quasiment chaque valeur de e.On pourra lister en ligne des nombres premiers appartenant aux ensembles PSG, G2-1, G4 et G6.
