Advanced Layout-Analysis für glossierte Handschriften

Abstract

In diesem Poster präsentieren wir eine Gegenüberstellung von zwei Layouterkennungs-Environments: YOLO und Kraken (außerhalb der eScriptorium-Umgebung). Dafür verwenden wir YOLOv12 und Kraken 5.3.0 mit den bereits annotierten Ground-Truth-Daten aus dem GlossIT-Korpus. Dieses Korpus wird im Zuge des ERC-Consolidator Grant Projekts "Celtic and Latin glossing traditions: uncovering early medieval language contact and knowledge transfer" (Grant Agreement Nr. 101123203) erstellt. Ziel des Projekts ist es, Sprachkontakt und Wissenstransfer im frühmittelalterlichen Westeuropa zu untersuchen.
