It synthesizes interdisciplinary evidence and methods across four domains—climate, natural hazards, biodiversity decline, and epidemics—emphasizing uncertainty, scale, and causal complexity. The volume highlights how environmental pressures were mediated by institutions, infrastructures, and social inequalities, offering conceptual and methodological orientation for students and researchers.
