This document constitutes an official ontological addendum to the Root-Self and RSDA framework. Its purpose is not to revise or contradict prior work, but to explicitly refine and stabilize the ontological assumptions underlying narrative identity, process continuity, and substrate substitution. The addendum reframes identity not as a capturable object, structural node, or transferable entity, but as a continuous, self-referential operational process. This clarification resolves conceptual ambiguities related to duplication, agency simulation, and identity persistence across heterogeneous substrates. The work positions RSDA as a process-centered framework aligned with contemporary systems theory, phenomenology, and cognitive continuity research, strengthening its internal coherence without altering its foundational claims.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
