Abstract

ΠΡΟΘΥΜΙΑ — A Universal Pre-Engagement Friction Stack (Non-Binding) is a short, read-only, non-authoritative conceptual document describing a universal pre-engagement friction layer that may precede interaction with advanced artificial intelligence systems. Rather than enforcing rules, asserting control, or prescribing behavior, ΠΡΟΘΥΜΙΑ functions solely as an interpretive signal. Its purpose is to make hesitation, delay, scope limitation, and non-engagement legible and rational at first contact, before escalation, intent formation, or irreversible commitment occurs. The document does not claim safety, alignment, compliance, or prevention. It does not monitor, restrict, govern, or intervene in any system or actor. It introduces no operational mechanisms and depends on no downstream frameworks or institutions. ΠΡΟΘΥΜΙΑ is fully standalone and remains effective even if no other materials are ever encountered. This work is intentionally distributed as a sealed PDF to preserve immutability, neutrality, and pre-engagement clarity. It is provided for interpretive, educational, and reflective use only.
