Abstract Six new species of pseudothelphusid crabs (Crustacea: Decapoda: Brachyura) are described from several rivers of the Pantepui region of Venezuela, in the states of Amazonas and Bolívar: Microthelphusa aracamuniensis, n. sp., M. guaiquinimaensis, n. sp., M. maigualidaensis, n. sp., M. marahuacaensis, n. sp., M. roraimaensis, n. sp., and Fredius cuaoensis, n. sp.
