Musica Visiva / Fluxus a Firenze Bilingual dossier (IT/EN) – historical context, documentation and mapping

Abstract

This bilingual dossier (IT/EN) documents and reconstructs the historical context of Visual Music / Fluxus in Florence during the second half of the twentieth century, focusing on the relationships between sound, sign, gesture, image, and performance.Based on primary sources (including the Segni firenzeannoduemilatre portfolio, 2003) and institutional surveys (Luigi Dallapiccola Study Center, 2021), it offers a historical, conceptual, and chronological mapping of the context. The dossier has historical-documentary and archival aims and does not define a unified movement, but highlights continuities, relationships, and intermedia practices developed in Florence. ita Questo dossier bilingue (IT/EN) documenta e ricostruisce il contesto storico della Musica Visiva / Fluxus a Firenze nel secondo Novecento, con particolare attenzione alle relazioni tra suono, segno, gesto, immagine e performance.
