In contemporary foreign language education, the use of teaching aids has become a vital component of effective instruction. Teaching aids support learners in understanding linguistic structures, developing communicative competence, and engaging meaningfully with the target language. This paper explores the definition, classification, pedagogical functions, and practical implementation of teaching aids in foreign language classrooms. The study analyzes traditional aids, digital resources, multimodal tools, and learner-centered materials. The findings highlight that teaching aids enhance motivation, increase retention, provide contextualized learning, and create interactive learning environments conducive to holistic language acquisition. Recommendations for effective integration of teaching aids are also provided.
