Mazkur ilmiy maqolada ingliz va o‘zbek tillari maqollarida uchraydigan antiteza (tazod) stilistik vositasining qiyosiy-lingvostilistik xususiyatlari kengaytirilgan holda tahlil qilinadi. Antitezaning semantik, pragmatik va lingvomadaniy jihatlari ochib beriladi hamda xalq og‘zaki ijodidagi o‘rni izohlanadi. Tadqiqot natijalari ingliz va o‘zbek maqollarida antitezaning umumiy va milliy xususiyatlarga ega ekanini ko‘rsatadi.
This article presents an expanded comparative linguostylistic analysis of antithesis in English and Uzbek proverbs. The study examines semantic oppositions, pragmatic functions and linguocultural aspects of antithesis. Numerous examples demonstrate how contrast enhances meaning and reflects national mentality in both languages.
