ESPECTRO TROPICAL DE AUTOVALORES PARA TENSORES DE ORDEM SUPERIOR

Abstract

Este artigo investiga o espectro de autovalores para tensores de ordem superior no contexto da álgebra tropical, também conhecida como álgebra min-plus ou max-plus. A teoria espectral de tensores, uma generalização natural da teoria de autovalores de matrizes, possui vastas aplicações em diversas áreas da ciência e engenharia. A álgebra tropical, por sua vez, substitui as operações aritméticas convencionais por operações de mínimo (ou máximo) e soma, transformando problemas não lineares complexos em problemas lineares por partes. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é definir e caracterizar o espectro tropical de autovalores para tensores simétricos de ordem superior. Exploramos a estrutura fundamental da equação de autovalor tropical, que se traduz em um sistema de equações min-plus (ou max-plus). Demonstra-se que o espectro tropical, ao contrário do caso clássico que consiste em um número finito de pontos, é tipicamente composto por uma união finita de intervalos. Analisamos as conexões intrínsecas entre o problema de autovalor tropical e a geometria tropical, onde os autovalores correspondem a pontos de não diferenciabilidade no gráfico de funções polinomiais tropicais associadas ao tensor. Adicionalmente, discutimos o análogo tropical do teorema de Perron-Frobenius para tensores com entradas não negativas, garantindo a existência e unicidade de um autovalor principal e de um autovetor positivo correspondente. A metodologia empregada é de natureza teórico-analítica, utilizando ferramentas da álgebra multilinear sobre semianéis idempotentes e da geometria tropical. Os resultados apresentados aprofundam a compreensão da estrutura espectral de tensores e abrem novas perspectivas para aplicações em otimização combinatória, sistemas de eventos discretos, análise de dados de alta dimensionalidade e aprendizado de máquina.
