DAFNEE, a Database of Academia Friendly jourNals in Ecology and Evolution, is a project aimed at promoting the use of non-profit, learned society, or university-associated journals. It provides a list of these journals and tools to assess a researcher's "DAFNEE usage index," which is the proportion of their publications in these journals.
