The reviewed text analyzes four catalog entries for liturgical objects linked to the House of Feria and preserved in Zafra and Fuente de Cantos, which were exhibited in Cosimo III de’ Medici’s Journey to Compostela (Xacobeo 2004). These works illustrate the religious patronage and dynastic memory of one of the most influential noble families of Baroque Extremadura. The first object is a small Lignum Crucis reliquary made of rock crystal with gold, enamel, precious stones, and pearls, donated by the first Duchess of Feria to the convent of Santa Clara in Zafra. The second is a processional cross in silver and ebony, associated with the ducal funerary chapel and stylistically related to the Purist aesthetic of early 17th-century Madrid workshops. The third entry concerns the Dalmatic and Collar of the Terno de las Águilas, an elaborate black velvet funerary vestment embroidered with gold and colored silk threads, likely of Italian manufacture. The fourth object is a holy water bucket (acetre) of Spanish-American silver, donated by the inquisitor Diego del Corro to the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Granada. Together, these pieces reflect aristocratic prestige, devotional display, and the cultural exchanges among Spain, Italy, and the Americas in the Baroque period.
