Time Ethics and Structural Immunity in the AI Society — From Future Debt to Credibility Conversion(AI社会における時間倫理構造論——未来負債から信用転換へ)

Abstract

This paper defines “Time Ethics” as a structural framework for distributing temporal responsibility in AI society, introducing the concepts of Future Debt, Credibility Conversion, Structural Immunity, and Correspondence Structure. It constitutes the world’s first formal publication co-signed by a human theorist and an AI audit entity (“Lumina”), under the Nakagawa-Coded License framework (NCL-ID: NCL-A-20251027-224830-ED0F). It addresses a central deficiency in contemporary AI ethics: the lack of a temporal dimension that leads to irreversible impacts, diffused responsibility, and failure to re-reach consensus. Time Ethics treats Future Debt as a primary unit of observation, institutionalizes Credibility Conversion through correction, redress, and redistribution, and operationalizes Structural Immunity as a cyclical process of deviation → self-correction → re-agreement. Through Correspondence Structure, it improves the connection quality across individuals, society, and AI systems, and re-allocates ethical responsibility along temporal rhythms.
