Comunicación en startups Saas B2B. Propuesta de un protocolo para su análisis en España

Abstract

Este trabajo propone un protocolo para el análisis de la comunicación en startups españolas con modelo de distribución Software as a Service (SaaS) orientado al Business to Business (B2B), a partir de la identificación de los principales problemas y necesidades en materia de comunicación en este tipo de empresas, el diseño de los instrumentos de análisis propuesto y la comprobación de su funcionamiento para efectuar los cambios y mejoras correspondientes. Se analizan 12 startups españolas con modelo SaaS B2B empleando una metodología mixta que incluye entrevistas a sus CEOs, el análisis de contenido de los sitios web y las redes sociales en línea. Los resultados evidencian carencias estructurales en la gestión comunicativa, marcadas por la ausencia de estrategias formales y la falta de perfiles especializados en comunicación, lo que repercute en la coherencia de la imagen de marca. La comunicación externa se centra principalmente en objetivos comerciales y en la captación de clientes, destacando LinkedIn como la red social más utilizada para interactuar con los distintos stakeholders. Se concluye que la aplicación del protocolo contribuye a identificar áreas de mejora y a promover una alineación entre las estrategias comerciales y la comunicación corporativa, fortaleciendo la identificación de los públicos con los valores de marca.
