Abstract

Қарлуқ калимасининг васфи мелодий IX-XIII аср таърихи, географи ва адабий манбаъларда ва унинг маъноси борасида кӯплаб маълумотлар келтирилган. Қарлуқлар мазкур манбаъларда ушбу шакллар Харлухия, خرلخيه, Хазлухия خزلخيه, Харлухӣ خرلخي, Хазлуҷ خزلج, Харлуҷ خرلج, Харлух خرلخ, Халлух خلخ, Халаҷ خلج, Хурлух خرلوخ, Хурлуғ خورلوغ, Хурсуғ خورسوغ, Қорсуқ قارسوق, Қарлух قرلخ, Қарлуқ قرلق, Қорлуқ قارلق, Ал-Қорғулия ва Ал-Қорлуғия القارغلية و القارلغية билан зикр қилинган. Қарлуқлар бугунга қадар ӯз номларини йӯқатмаганлар. Халлух яъни Қарлуқ маъносини луғавий ва истилоҳий васфи чиройли, хушбӯй ва чиройли ҳусну ҷамол дейилган.
