Abstract

En esta comunicación presentamos las metodologías desarrolladas a lo largo del proyecto europeo PATHOS y los resultados más relevantes de la puesta en marcha de las vías de impacto, el análisis coste-beneficio y los indicadores seleccionados para la infraestructura RCAAP. PathOS - Open Science Impact Pathways es un proyecto de Horizonte Europa que tiene como objetivo recopilar pruebas de los efectos de la ciencia abierta mediante el estudio de las vías de impacto (contexto, recursos, actividades, productos, resultados e impactos), una amplia revisión de la literatura, el estudio de los efectos causales, la elaboración de un Manual de Indicadores de Ciencia Abierta y la aplicación de los indicadores seleccionados en seis estudios de caso. El caso «Aceleración de las colaboraciones entre el mundo académico y la industria», liderado por la Universidad de Minho, explora el uso de la infraestructura portuguesa de repositorio de publicaciones para la ciencia abierta RCAAP https://www.rcaap.pt/ para comprender si la disponibilidad de publicaciones en texto completo en acceso abierto aumenta la visibilidad de las instituciones de educación superior y el uso de estas publicaciones por parte de las pequeñas y medianas empresas (pymes) y la industria, promoviendo colaboraciones y sinergias.

Apresentamos nesta comunicação as metodologias desenvolvidas no decurso do projeto europeu PATHOS e os resultados mais relevantes da operacionalização dos caminhos de impacto, análise custo-benefício e indicadores selecionados à infraestrutura RCAAP. O PathOS - Open Science Impact Pathways é um projeto do Horizonte Europa que visa recolher provas dos efeitos da Ciência Aberta, através do estudo das vias de impacto (contexto, recursos, atividades, produtos, resultados e impactos), de uma extensa revisão da literatura, do estudo dos efeitos causais, da elaboração de um Manual de Indicadores da Ciência Aberta e da aplicação dos indicadores selecionados em seis estudos de caso. O caso Accelerating collaborations within academia and industry, liderado pela Universidade do Minho, explora a utilização da infraestrutura portuguesa de repositório de publicações para a Ciência Aberta RCAAP https://www.rcaap.pt/ para compreender se a disponibilidade de publicações em texto integral em acesso livre aumenta a visibilidade das instituições de ensino superior e a utilização destas publicações por Pequenas e Médias Empresas (PME) e pela indústria, promovendo colaborações e sinergias.

In this communication, we present the methodologies developed during the European project PATHOS and the most relevant results of the operationalisation of impact pathways, cost-benefit analysis and selected indicators for the RCAAP infrastructure. PathOS - Open Science Impact Pathways is a Horizon Europe project that aims to gather evidence of the effects of Open Science by studying impact pathways (context, resources, activities, products, results, and impacts), conducting an extensive literature review, studying causal effects, developing an Open Science Indicators Manual, and applying the selected indicators in six case studies. The case study Accelerating collaborations within academia and industry, led by the University of Minho, explores the use of the Portuguese Open Science publication repository infrastructure RCAAP https://www.rcaap.pt/ to understand whether the availability of full-text publications in open access increases the visibility of higher education institutions and the use of these publications by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and industry, promoting collaborations and synergies.
