Abstract

La superación profesional permanente de los especialistas en medicina familiar y comunitaria en Caumatología en Ecuador constituye una necesidad, por cuanto el especialista en medicina familiar y comunitaria que ocupa una plaza como especialistas de Atención Primaria de Salud en un centro de salud, debe formar las competencias necesarias para un desempeño en la atención integral de calidad a pacientes quemados. Es así que el objetivo de este trabajo fue desarrollar un Sistema de recomendaciones sobre el desempeño de especialistas en medicina familiar y comunitaria en Caumatología en cursos de post- grado, para el mejoramiento del desempeño profesional en la atención integral a pacientes quemados. En este contexto fue ne- cesaria la valoración de los cursos de postgrado en caumatología de las Universidades de Ciencias Médicas Ecuatorianas. Se evalúo la aplicabilidad y asequibilidad y tiempo necesario de aprendizaje de los cursos. Se analizaron los cursos desarrollados en la Universidades de Ciencias Médicas Ecuatorianas dirigidos al mejoramiento del desempeño profesional.
