Pick & Mix: an incremental approach to improving Coscine, the research data management platform

Abstract

This FAIR Implementation Story outlines the specific aims and actions of RWTH Aachen University in relation to their participation in Support Programme for Repositories and Data Service Providers. RWTH Aachen University and Landesinitiative fdm.nrw’s ‘Pick & Mix’ approach to improving their FAIR practices allowed them to make incremental improvements to Coscine, the research data management platform they manage. Focussing on actions to improve transparency, they were able to complete foundational steps on their journey to achieving CoreTrustSeal.
