El material óseo, fosilizado o no, abunda en yacimientos paleontológicos y arqueológicos,y forma parte de colecciones históricas, artísticas o de historia natural. Sin embargo, enel ámbito de la conservación-restauración la información sobre este material es escasa yse encuentra dispersa.El objetivo de esta II Reunión sobre conservación y restauración de hueso es ofrecer unaplataforma donde discutir sobre el estado de la investigación sobre el material, sobre sudegradación y sobre las medidas para su conservación y restauración
Bone material, fossilised or not, is abundant in palaeontological and archaeological sites, and is part of historical, artistic or natural history collections. However, in the field of conservation, information on this material is scarce and scattered. The aim of this 2nd Meeting on Bone Conservation and Restoration is to provide a platform to discuss the state of the art in bone conservation and restoration.
