Abstract

Il personale di supporto alla ricerca e all’innovazione (di seguito Research Manager e Administrator, RMA o Research Manager) rappresenta un pilastro fondamentale per il successo della ricerca e dell’innovazione e può svolgere un ruolo strategico nel collegare competenze scientifiche, amministrative e gestionali. I Research Manager sono essenziali per promuovere un ecosistema di ricerca efficiente, capace di rispondere alle sfide globali e di attrarre risorse per generare impatti concreti sulla società. In Italia il potenziale è ampio ma ancora frenato da scarso riconoscimento, pochi percorsi formativi certificati e reti professionali frammentate. Questo White Paper offre spunti e raccomandazioni a policy-maker, a leader e RMA di università, centri di ricerca, IRCCS, aziende ospedaliere, fondazioni e imprese per portare avanti delle azioni congiunte per lo sviluppo professionale dei RMA al fine di rafforzare l’eccellenza del sistema nazionale di ricerca e innovazione.
