La plataformización de la vida familiar. Informe breve de investigación 2024

Abstract

¿Cómo se integran las plataformas digitales en las vidas y prácticas de las familias actuales? El proyecto “Platforming Families: Tracing digital transformations in everyday life across generations (PlatFAMs)" investiga familias de tres generaciones (hijos/as, madres, padres y abuelas/os) en cinco países europeos (Estonia, Noruega, Rumanía, España y Reino Unido). Nuestro objetivo es desvelar cómo las familias navegan y negocian sus relaciones utilizando plataformas digitales que en muchos casos son omnipresentes, comerciales y basadas en datos, como WhatsApp, Amazon, Netflix, Instagram o Google Classroom. Nos preguntamos si la “plataformización” modifica la forma en la que las familias se comunican, aprenden, participan, compran o se cuidan. Y cómo las familias imaginan y construyen su futuro en común.
