Under the title "FAIR Assessments for Research Quality Evaluation and Reproducibility," the FAIR National Roadshow series visited Italy on April 8, 2025. This hybrid event was organized by FAIR-IMPACT in collaboration with ETT and the Data Stewards of the University of Bologna. The event was conducted in Italian and was structured around two main sessions. The morning session explored the current framework of open science policy in Italy. Plenary presentations introduced Italy’s Open Science Plan, the national competence center for open science under development, and the Italian Reproducibility Network, with a particular focus on FAIR data practices—especially in terms of accessibility—in the urban context of Genoa.
