This record includes a reprocessing (R) script for the 'Madison Point Refits' dataset published by archaeologist William Engelbrecht about lithic points found in the Eaton site (New York State). Its purpose is to reformat the data to generate a version suitable for analysis with the archeofrag application (for refitting and spatial analysis in archaeology). It includes: eaton.R: an R script, generating the following files: eaton-fragments.csv: a table about the fragments of lithic points (1 row = 1 fragment) eaton-connection.csv: a table about the refitting relationships between fragments of lithic points (1 row = 1 refitting connection) eaton-site-point-refits.jpg: for convenience, a map representing the spatial distribution of the fragments and refitting connection eaton-site-point-refits.html: the same map, in an interactive version.
