Feedback Musicianship is an approach that explores the recurrent circulation of signals as a core approach to making making. Recurrent circulation of signals leadsto complex emergent behaviours and multistable dynamics in musical instruments, that demand new musical approaches. The AHRC Feedback Musicianship Network ran for a year, bring together researchers and practitioners to share knowledge and craft of building and playing feedback instruments, and to discuss salient issues and questions in the field. Based on these activities, this article sets out a research agenda for future research in Feedback Musicianship.
