The data file relates to an investigation of the psychometric properties of the German Version of the Dissociative Symptom Scale (DSS). Due to the participants' lack of consent for public data sharing, the data from Study 1 cannot be made openly available. The data set here (dss_2) contains responses to the 20 items of the translation of the four-factors DSS scale. In addition, the data set contains responses to the German version of the Posttraumatic Diagnostic Scale for DSM-5 (PDS-5), the German version of the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-8), the German version of the Big Five Inventory-10 (BFI-10), the 44-item German version of the Dissociative Experience Scale (FDS), and the German version of the Somatoform Dissociation Questionnaire (SDQ-20). Data for the SDQ-20 contain missing values for the first 32 participants because the SDQ-20 was added to the questionnaire battery at a later stage of the study.
