Music Archive of the Cathedral of Malaga Fourth catalogue
Authors: Rodríguez de Tembleque García, Susana E.;

Abstract

This work complements the three previous catalogues, with the aim of documenting and organizing the extensive musical heritage of the Music Archive of the Cathedral of Malaga, including anonymous compositions, liturgical scores and personal archives that have enriched the repository over time. The work not only describes the content of the files, but also delves into the historical context, provenance and interpretation of the works, offering a comprehensive view of the music that has been part of the cultural and religious life of the Cathedral. This effort seeks to preserve, disseminate and enhance a musical legacy that reflects the richness and evolution of the musical tradition in the institution.
